From July 7 to 13, 2024, the city of Lugano, Switzerland, hosted the International Summer School Lugano 2024, an international educational program focused on Blockchain, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Thanks to the collaboration with the ESG Center of Excellence, the event organizer, and SUPSI – University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, 12 scholarships were awarded to young Peruvian students, providing them with the opportunity to participate in a high-level international learning experience.
The initiative was supported by AVRVM and developed in partnership with Athena School of Management, The Swiss Institute for Alternative Thinking, The Athena Center, INBREEC, and the Camera di Commercio, Industria, Turismo e Agricoltura Svizzera–Perù.
The Summer School brought together students from Switzerland, Italy, India, Poland, and Peru, creating a dynamic multicultural environment that encouraged knowledge exchange, professional development, and international networking.
Throughout the program, participants explored the practical applications of blockchain technology, the growing importance of ESG principles in business and public institutions, and best practices in corporate sustainability. They also had the opportunity to engage with internationally recognized experts, industry leaders, and academics, while experiencing the value of cross-cultural collaboration.
The Camera di Commercio, Industria, Turismo e Agricoltura Svizzera–Perù is proud to have supported this initiative, reaffirming its commitment to fostering international cooperation, promoting educational excellence, and creating opportunities for young professionals to develop the skills and global perspectives needed to address future challenges.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the organizers, partners, sponsors, and participants for making the 2024 edition a success, and we look forward to supporting future initiatives that strengthen innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration.
